How blessed we are to live in a time where we can turn on our TV's, radios, go online or to our nearest church to listen to the Prophet and Apostles. Even though it seems like I have inherited my mom's ability to fall asleep in the middle of conference, I still enjoy Conference Weekend!
Since our TV room is not able to watch TV in, Christian and I laid in bed and watched it. (Which made it difficult to stay awake!) We had fun listening to the principles being taught, eating popcorn and having our doggies by us. (On the floor of course!)
I loved the talks about temples and temple attendance. Christian and I have a love for the temple and the church's teaching of eternal families. I think that if I were not a member of the church, I would not have been able to marry Christian. The thought that he would most likely die at a younger age than most husbands and I would never seen him again would have been too much to bare.
The church is wonderful, the temple is wonderful, and even though at times it doesn't seem this way, life is wonderful! Happy General Conference Weekend everyone! Here are some pictures so you can be included on our comfy Sunday church attendance. :)
